$25 Generous Virgin Change Plans Pass

Here is a neat idea. Virgin American is offering a sort of insurance that you can choose to buy. If you are ever fearful (as I often am) that you might need to change your flight. Virgin is offering a ‘Change Plans Pass’.  This is a fee I think I would opt for on occasion.

The rules state this you can check it out here:

Plans Change Pass fee waiver available for a one-time purchase of $25 per guest at time of main cabin booking with 24 hours advanced purchase of departure, per itinerary which allows unlimited no-fee changes to flight date, time, origin and destination of the purchased flight in compliance with Virgin America’s contract of carriage(Domestic U.S. Travel) and the International Contract of Carriage (International Travel). Traveller name changes and cabin class changes are not eligible for flight changes. When travel is changed up to the scheduled flight departure time, the Plans Change Pass waives the flight change fee ranging from $100-$150 (based on haul) each time a change is made to an itinerary. Guest must pay any increase in fare, if applicable. Prices are subject to change. The Plans Change Pass cannot be used on Elevate reward flights or Elevate partner redemption bookings. Not eligible for purchase with Elevate points or for Elevate points earning.

The Plans Change Pass is only refundable within the first 24 hours of making your reservation if purchased at the time of booking. After 24 hours of booking, the Plans Change pass is non-refundable, non-transferable to other passengers or new bookings and cannot be applied when canceling a reservation.

This is available for only $25  and allows UNLIMITED no fee changes it also seems to be complimentary for Virgin Visa Credit Card holders. Nice benefit!

Kia Test Drive Offer

My daughter found this offer to Test Drive a Kia and get a $25 Visa Gift Card. Pretty easy.  Test drive offer is available from February 3 – March 31, 2016. Fill out and print the form, take it to a dealer for validation.

I have to admit I have a Kia Optima and I love it. I came from a Lincoln and gas prices were high at the time. The Lincoln was a v8, which is fun to drive until you have to keep returning to a gas station at over $3 a gallon. The Optima Sport was a good replacement. The only negatives I have found is visibility when look out the back corners is terrible and the front passenger seat sits very very low and is not adjustable up and down.  It is a sleek car that turns lots of heads, a 2012 model that people still stop me in parking lots to ask what it is.  🙂 Reminds me it is almost spring and time to break out the wax and elbow grease to bring back the shine.
